Our LoveShackFancy Moment
Some opportunities feel too special to pass up.
When LoveShackFancy reached out to us in May about creating an exclusive needlepoint collection, it felt like one of those moments you simply don't say no to—you make it happen.
With just a few short weeks before launch, we jumped in headfirst. We sketched designs, selected color palettes, painted canvases, built stitch kits, sourced custom accessories, and dreamed up an event that would bring the collection to life. It was a whirlwind of late nights, countless details, and more coffee than we'd like to admit, but every second was worth it.
LoveShackFancy has always celebrated beautiful details, heirloom quality, and timeless femininity—the very things we love most about needlepoint. It felt like a natural partnership and an opportunity to introduce a whole new audience to this incredible craft.
On launch day, we welcomed customers to the LoveShackFancy store on the Country Club Plaza for an experience unlike anything we'd ever done before. Champagne was flowing, exclusive kits lined the shelves, and before we knew it, a line had formed outside the doors.
Within 40 minutes, the collection had completely sold out.
What happened next surprised us even more. Messages poured in from stitchers across the country hoping for another chance to own a piece of the collection. We opened preorders, and the excitement continued long after launch day.
While we're incredibly proud of the collection itself, what we'll remember most are the people. Watching longtime stitchers introduce friends to the hobby, seeing customers discover needlepoint for the very first time, and celebrating such a special collaboration together reminded us exactly why we opened The Parkville Needlepoint House.
This collaboration reminded us that saying "yes" to a big idea—even when the timeline feels impossible—can lead to something truly unforgettable.
